Which is exactly why, at 16, you feel that way.
When I was 6 I knew that if I wanted the answer to a question I could get it by asking my parents B'cos they were so smart.
Alas, when I was 10 something happened and my parents got progressively stupider and by the time I got to be 16 I wondered if they were smart enuf to chew gum & breath without danger to their health. Fortunatley this anomoly lasted only a few years as, by the time I was 28 they seem to have gained back their former level of smarts.
Isn't life amazing---- 16 yr old--- live it a while & you'll find out that we elders aren't so stupid after all.
