21 Years on Death Row

A British man who has spent the past 21 years on death row in the US has been released as his original conviction was unsafe. At one point he was 1 hour away from being executed.

He had been convicted of setting a fire that killed a 2 year old.

Another example of the death penalty being wrong.

i think he should be prosacuted.

surely he cant be prosecuted again? i thought murder trials were one chance things?

Secondly there is nothing to say this guy didnt do it, he isnt fighting to clear his name, he is plea barganing his way out of it.

Guys we don't know enough about the evidence to decide either way. If we did it would be a different story but this stuff is all speculation.
