"Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama emerged victorious in the first election returns of the 2008 presidential race, winning 15 of 21 votes cast in Dixville Notch, New Hampshire.
...
It was the first time since 1968 that the village leaned Democratic in an election."

Don't get too excited though, they don't have a track record of picking winners.

Most notably in the JFK/Nixon race in 1960 all 9 eligible voters voted for Nixon. JFK won.

In the 1964 primaries, the picked... Nixon. Goldwater won.

In the 1968 general election they picked... Hubert Humphrey. Nixon won.

For some reason I find this highly amusing.

Even more amusingly, in the 1968 Democratic primary the only registered Democrat voted for.... Nixon! On a write in.

I think Feb is when they take office, isn't it? We should know by the end of the day if there are no legal challenges. Could be a week or more otherwise.
