Sitting in my window

I sit here working with my beads and all my thoughts go into my work.
It helps me not to think about worries that i may have.
If i am not doing crafts i write my thoughts in my journal.
I started writing when i got injured.
Sometimes it helps just to write and there are times it doesn't help.
Sometimes i used to go for a walk and that would help clear my mind.
All i want is to get through this day with out feeling any pain.

Yes i enjoy doing crafts i make chokers,bracelets,anklets,keychains,
lighter covers,earrings,hairclips and i also make dream catchers.
It is a very amazing skill to have to be able to create something with your own hands and to be proud of it.

I enjoy making crafts and jewelry too.

I must admit i only join in on the occasional necklace making in activity week at the end of the year..but i just thought i say that its good that you have found something else to calm you down instead of keeping it bottled in.

I wish i had a hobby or something along those lines. I suppose you could say mine is the pub. Thats were i spend alot of my free time. must say it doesnt sound as theraputic as making jewellery.

And like mirandamunch said, its good you have found something that helps you calm.

You have got me thinking about it now. And im thinking i should get back into either yoga or boxing again. I do miss it!

Thank you all very much for your input i do appreciate it very much. And i actually have been doing my beadwork since i was 10 years old,but every once in awhile i do have to put it down for awhile. I am making more then when i first learned how and
while i am making something,then i see something else so i put down what i am making and start on what i just seen. Sometimes
i see it in my dream and the hardest part is trying to figure out how to start it,but i do eventually figure it out. But yes
that is a craft that i really enjoy doing very much. I even tried learning how to knit,crochet,basket weaving,i just couldn't get the hang of it.

Hello I want to introduce myself, I like crafts too.

Yes I think any thing you enjoy takes your mind off things,I get into my own little world when i paint,i also make cards and do a bit of scrap booking, i`m so engrossed in what i am doing i don`t think much about anyhting else.

I also enjoy getting lost in my crafting. I work with beads and wire. My friends when they watch me all say that they would get so stressed out if they tried, but for me it is calming. It takes my mind off of the stresses of the day.

my sister makes necklaces, bracelets etc and sells them, it helps her relax, it makes me get frustrated. I have no patience when it comes to stringing small beads onto thin wire, its recipe for aggravation and disaster
