Steam Download thing

Grr i hate this, i hate how it takes ssoo long for games to download, i started downloading a game like 2 days ago yet its still not finished

use dowload accelerator its really good speeds them up loads

Steam sucks
+ i kinda got board with HL2
bring on Call of Duty 2 and FEAR any day

sorry never heard of steam before, just googled it can't you use bittorrent or you'd be cheaper and quicker [100% bandwidth] getting yourself a newsgroup account [approx ?11 month] but you can download what you want when you want

i cant, see steam is an application to download games made by valve, so games like half life 2, you have to use steam to download the games, (that is off course, after you have bought them) steam acts like an anti piracy thing, but games take a long time to download

Whats wrong with Pro- Piracy??? free!!! it's good i hate paying for things that take forever to download, and you complete in a few days

good sites for what dude? depends what and what with you wanna download - i personally use a newsgroup account because they are pretty safe and secure but it will set you back about ?11 monthly, once you get the hang of it though the benefits far outweight the cost - but i did use BitTorrent for about 1yr and half and they are free and a great way to get some stuff, let me know your download program of choice and i'll get you some sites
