Are rich children always happier than poor children?

There is the stereotype that rich kids who get everything take things for granted adn don't appreciate what they have..however they seem happy with their lives...Money doesn't buy happiness

you dont need money to be content with your life

well,my family was fairly poor growin up,my hubby was quite rich,the differences i have noticed are these,i seem to appreciate things more than him,i can have a great xmas without recieving any presents,i show him i love him throught little things such as-love letters in his lunch,makin him breakkie in bed ect,where as e feels he has to give me materialistic stuff to show his love.but all that could just mean we have different personality traits,not from our opposite childhoods?

I think its the parents that make a child happy , riches or not having money means nothing.

Yep, my parents have made me happy. Sometimes we go through a rough patch in the money side of things, but my parents still manage to give us almost anything we want. They are the best parents ever aye!?

noooooooooooo. sometimes when i was younger I told my mom i would trade all s***,money bought *well some* for freedom and happieness.still now sometimes id rather be happy then have money.hell i date a rich guy and love the poor guy. its just depends on who a brat! im happy now,i have money and kids and a great guy who all so has money, but hell even with the money we both have we spend most of our time at home...injoying each other then out spending it all

yep, im spoiled, but I dont have to be.im more into love than money and i grew up with everything.hell even tho i have money i still check the price tag out b4 i buy! lolol

Well parents can be rich and still be good parents, vice versa. Its about parenting really rather than how much cash you have.

I guess the stereotype is that if the parents are rich then they are always working and not there to be parents.

I saw an interview with Lisa Marie Presley and she said how she would smash a TV for attention. However she would just be taken out of the room and the next day another TV would be there thats kinda sad.
