"Christmas is normally seen as the day of Christ's birth but it is actually the date of the immaculate conception."

Where did you get that? Dates for the birth of Jesus range from April 2 November 18, with "chosen" date including January 6th and December 25th. Unless there was an "immaculate" term of pregnancy that would put the conception between July to Feb. The Catholic church "celebrates" the immaculate conception on Dec 8th.

The whole immaculate conception idea was created between 70 and 400 years after the death of Christ...depending on your history.

the idea was needed to make Jesus god...and borrowed from...yes, the pegans.

I've checked it out and apparently I got a bit confused on this matter...
