Excess alcohol consumption

Could some one please tell me if there is actually any serious danger (and i mean serious) to drinking a 70cl bottle of vodka in 1 night?

If so then whats the danger?

Alcohol poisoning... liver damage...

It could mess up your liver? If you were drinking it every night?

Getting so pissed you have an accident or do something really stupid resulting in you getting seriously hurt.

You'd sure have a lot of fun, though.

I bet you would lose your balance an awful lot and maybe even hit your head on some kind of wooden structure.

70cl? Is that 70 centileter = 7/10 of a liter?

If so, that's probably about 350-400 mL of pure alcohol, or about 35-40 "units" of alcohol.

This is almost twice the amount necessary to cause death. End of story.

I've seen folks consume way more than that and not be anywhere near dying, nor anywhere near balancing on their feet for prolonged periods of time though.

You COULD die from it of course, mostly depending on your body and the time you choose consume the liquid in. If you ram it down your gullet in thirty seconds you are making a fair bid on death(as well as a good amount of other "lesser" consequences).

saying that this amount of vodka would kill you during a nights drinking is simply not correct, but as with most drugs there is always a chance of serious consequences(including that of death) due to the consumption itself or the acts you commit during your time in this altered mental state.

i used to drink alot whenio was a student.. and that my friend was nothing... i would drink that then go out about 9pm and drink another 6-7 pints...

looking back on it i always ask... where did i find the money to do that...

Yeah a bottle of vodka can be drunk without killing you, im guessing its a regular 37.5% or 40%

However your liver will be working overtime giving off that lovely nauseous drug into the blood stream which says "please dont drink anymore because you are killing me"

Also dont drive for 24 hours after you wake from the drunken stupor.

If you have a death wish i can give you some ideas that are far more fun. For example go down the motorway on a skateboard in the opposite direction to the traffic.
