I know I'm only fifteen, but I think that's horrible.
If I was in a relationship and my partner found out that they were HIV +ve I would stay. For a start, after finding out that you had HIV would be an awful event, and you'd need so much support. A couple could still make a life together. They could use protection from then on and then, if they wanted to start a family, there is always adoption, or, if it was the male that had HIV, a sperm donor.
If I loved someone I'd stand by them. I'd understand that what life they had left might not be of the best quality but I'd stick by them and try and improve that quality.
A disease shouldn't change the way you feel about someone. It would be hard for both people but nothing in a relationship is easy.
