Once i had a boyfriend who wanted to buy me like everything .. he bought me so much crap and i was like yea this is fine and dandy but your spending all your money on me and i'm getting really uncomfortable with it so i finally sat him down and said hey you dont' need money and crap to get me to love you. If i do love you it'll be for what's inside not what you buy me!

Just tell them. Don't put it in a letter, that's corny. At least have the decendy to tell them to their face, or at *least* on the phone. Over an IM? or in a letter? That is the sign of a coward and a mark of what your character is.

Just be honest. It's always a good idea to tell the truth.

money can't buy love and that's why i had to set him down and tell him! Some guys like to buy their girlfriends stuff and that's fine if it's on their birthday or valentines day or something but there's no need to buy them a lot of stuff ALL the time!
