It's either Bush or Algor BECAUSE more people will vote for one and less for the other

As much as I would like to see Kerry win, I believe Bush is going to edge him out. Even if Kerry picks a southern democrat such as Edwards or Graham, it won't be enough to "win over" the south. Bush also has a lot more money for campaign advertising then Kerry does. Hopefully I am wrong though because I don't know if I can stand another 4 years of Bush's poor economic plan. We are spending 800 Billion dollars in Iraq, lost Clinton's surplus, and Bush wants to give tax cuts??? I guess it helps out some families in the short run, but I believe it is only going to hurt this country in the long run. Go Royals!

Do you think a Kerry/Edwards ticket would be strong? I have a lot of respect for what John Edwards stands for. He does not run around telling you why his opponent sucks, but rather pushes the strengths of his platform. He supports positions that many Americans can connect with. I was surprised to see him get so few votes in the primaries. Let me know what you all think.

In reply to Axe's post: I would love Kerry and Edwards to run together in November. I have a lot of respect for Edwards, and he would probably be able to swing North Carolina and South Carolina voters towards voting Democrat (which would be super rare...especially for SC.) I would not want to see Kerry choose Dean as his running mate...only because they are both from New England. We (democrats) would not recieve a single electorial vote from the south if Dean was picked. Kerry/Edwards is cool with me!

I will be voting for Kerry in November, although it would not suprise me if Bush won because he is as corrupt as they get. It's amazing what money can buy you these days. No wonder the rest of the world hates America... we have the dumbest man alive representing our country.

I initially wanted John Edwards to win, but I'm sure Kerry will do a better job than who we have now...that won't take much effort. I'd vote for Paris Hilton's dog before I would vote for Bush.

That's my 2 cents, don't spend it all in one place

Well, since I started the post I guess I should tell you what I think. Bush/Cheney are going to win again this November. I feel for all of you who have jumped on the media bandwagon simply because Bush is a Republican. I really think it would be cool if you stopped for a minute to think about the state of the nation. The country is doing well. Bush is not an idiot. If he was the dumbest man alive then he would be out of office already because of some screw-up. In fact, he knew he didn't have the political experience to be efficient, so he signed on the best advisors he could find. Smart move. The economy is fine. I'm not starving, in want of clothes or whatever else. My parents got a $1,500 break on taxes just for me being in school, thanks to President Bush. More people built houses during the last quarter than any other quarter in American history. My neighbors back home built two new houses during Feb-March. They seem to be doing well. Jobs went overseas the last couple of years; that's a fact. Is that Bush's fault? Hardly. I laugh at the people who think it's the president's fault that a company decides to pay foreign people less so that they can make a better profit. It's called Capitalism, people. If American workers would stop being lazy and stuck up and take the available jobs then the unemployment would not be a problem. When November comes, foreign policy will not be the difference between a Bush and Kerry win. Americans care primarily about what happens here in our own country. Anything after that is secondary, and that will be the difference in 2004.

Really? He did?

d*** Cheney: Former Haliberton CEO. Haliberton gets a couple million or billion dollar contracts in Iraq. Haliberton is the only company even offered the contracts (NO BIDDING). Haliberton then overcharges the government several million dollars in gas/food/clothing/services. They are in the proceess of paying it back *probably only because they got caught*

Donald Rumsfelt (however it is spelled): Knows about prisoner abuse, and has approved some of it.

Paul Wolfowitz: Signed onto Bush administration before 9/11. Wolfowitz is a MAJOR anti-Iraq person, and has devoted his whole life to knowing about Iraq/Sadaam. Only reason to have this guy in administration is if Bush was going to Iraq whether 9/11 happened or not.

Bush Administration is still saying there was a link between Iraq and Al-Quida (however it is spelled) and that there still are WMD (though it may take years to find them *or in my opinion plant them*). CIA/FBI have said there is no link, and no WMD.

(Bush + Advisors + Terrorism) / Bad economy * (lies, cheating, stealing) = $ in Bush's pocket and the presidency.
*

Bush Sr. is an advisor/stockholder in Carlyle Group. Which has stock in most of the companies which recieved contracts in Iraq and Afganistan. Carlyle Group also had major Saudi officials on it's board (they have since left to avoid publicity). Majority of 9/11 attackers were Saudi. Saudi Arabia owns almost 10% of USA. (they give an annual amount of something like 300 billion dollars to the government each year) Saudi Arabia finally caught/shutdown its first terrorist ring (3 years after 9/11). Saudi Arabia is the worlds highest producing oil country.

All of this coincidence or conspiracy. The world (and the US) may never know.

I suggest everyone go see Feirenheit 9/11 (however it is spelled, its midnight and im tired) I hope it opens some eyes.
Michael Moore has only been sued once (because of invasion of privacy in Bowling for Columbine *didn't turn off camer! after being asked to, and then put it in film*).

Only 1 Congressman has a son/daughter/grandchild serving in the military. I wonder why...

Meanwhile...our soldiers make 2000 a month in Iraq. Haliberton truck divers make almost 8000 a month to drive a 2.5 mile loop every day. And we wonder why kids these days don't want to join the military.

Corruption is hard work...maybe Bush should take another vacation...like he did the first few months of his administration (42% of time on vacation).

Enough Bush bashing...really most all political people are corrupt in one form or another. Sad thing is, when it comes to election time, we have to choose the lesser of two evils....
