Well, that is certainly curious.
You are telling me that the point of cricket is NOT to watch grass grow?
I mean, that IS the only thing of any interest happening on the field after all..

No appartently there are sometime very nice sandwiches served during the tea breaks during the games. Oh and the occassional cream bun. Really exciting.

aha, I KNEW there had to be something.
So, this legendary serving of tea and cream buns.. does it happen on the third or fourth day?

The sound of crickets chirping is actually music to some ears.

How does the TV pictures of a big grassy filed with guys in white clothes help us to see the crickets. Are those guys the cricket keepers?

Those guys in the Sports department must never have seen a proper wildlife program. Maybe their cameras don't have the right lenses to allow them to zoom in on the grass and let us watch the crickets.
