On the Road

Has anybody read this book, by Jack Kerouac? If so, what do you think of it? If not, then why not? Have you heard anythign about it or its author, Jack Kerouac?

we have some books by jack.. my boyfriend likes him and you might want to try william s. burroughs... he is about the same i think one of his books "junky" you should read it..

Yeah, my brother has that book. I want to read it, if he'll just hand the damn thing over.
Burroughs's writing is pretty good stuff, from what little I've read. I tried reading Naked Lunch, but it was a bit too hard of a Burroughs to start off with. Besides, the guy who loaned me the book asked for it back for a project he had to do for a class.
