How about Elizabeth-Clair

See, that's one of my reasons for disliking Elizabeth. I know umpteen hundred of 'em around here. Otherwise, it's a nice name. But, hey, they must be popular for a reason as you tend to see the same names (e.g., John, Matt, Mark, Elizabeth, Lindsey, Ashley, not including spelling variations) . . .

What about Stone? That's a nice strong name!

Don't laugh. There IS a child in my son's class with this name. I initially thought he was having problems pronouncing "Sloan/Slone" but no, the kid's name is indeed Stone and it is NOT a nickname.

It seems how it happens that you name a kid something that you dont know anyone with that name and as they grow up you meet a million. my name is brandie lee i graduated with 4 others and meet at least 40 more but i have only met like 3 others that spell it the way i do. And everyone and there grandma seemed to have the middle name of Lee when i was in school. My brothers name is Justin Luke and well i am dating a justin and i know a million Justins, but i dont know anyone with the name of Luke. And my youngest brother is Trevor Andrew, i had never met another trevor until after he was in school and i know only one andrew.

Luke William
Ethan William
Jeffrey William
George William (I'm not seriously suggesting that, that was just my grandfather's name)
-OR-
Emily Jane
Lily Jane
Myra Jane

I haven't had a kid yet, so I'm not exactly an expert.

Sorry for the late post... has the baby been born yet?

I like Ethan, and I like Emily.

My son was *supposed* to be Aaron William, however, near the end we decided that Trenton Robert suited him better. William in is my husbands middle name too. Our other name is Spencer William.
