Windows files.....

Does anyone know where the graphics files for the windows error messages live?

The internet. Every file lives somewhere on the internet.

Or, look up error pictures, then save the picture, doctor it you your pleaseing and make it funny. Then you cna post it here!

No I mean the picture files live somewhere in the "windows" folder on my computer and I want to find the ones on my computer so they are originals not someone elses version of what they should look like.

Cant I find out what they're called and copy them to a graphics program?

ohh man, i just rememberd, i tryed the same thing as you. I hunted down for ages and ages in both program files, and the internet. I didn't find any error messages

not unless your gonna take up programming anytime soon ( Visual Studio allowes the use
and access of them, but its an overkill for extracting a few bmp's)
