Gospel according to Judas

In today's paper there was front page article on the completeion of a document that was found in the 70's, that is the Gospel according to Judas. In that one Judas was not a bad guy and was just doing what Jesus asked him to do, knowing that he would be dispised for generations. In the 180 A.D. the powers to be tried to destroy these writings. I guess they missed one. I just find it interesting and amazing that something like that canb survive so long through the ages. I am sure there is a new link somewhere out there is interested.

If this is correct, it wouldn't surprise me at all.

How do they know it's authentic?

meh who knows, i mean s*** if you really believe in all that then you gotta
believe that god/jesus already knows what we are going to do before we
actually do it so in theory he was only doing what he was supposed to do.

Well that the problem really. You don't the science community date them to 300 AD and state that they were copied from Greek, but to prove if they were written by Judas and are true or not, well that is alway the question. But really how can we prove any of the gospels?

If Jesus' mother was the virgin mary, how'd she concieve Jesus?

It's called immaculate conception. Apparently God planted Jesus inside her, basically.
I've been really interested in Judas since I saw Jesus Christ SuperStar which gives a really interesting view of him. I think this could well be true... if any of religion is.

That really is the problem that people 1800 years ago decided what was in and what was out, and any view that differerd from theirs was wrong. KNowing human nature for what it is, most of those decisions where made to the benifit of those in power.
