It depends on the artist..... but most often, I like live albums.... Oh, but if the album has too much of the audience is a little sucky too.....

I like "album edited" alot better than hearing the audience screaming and ruining the music.

I like the studio albums better. Sometimes it's too hard to hear the artist singing in the live ,
I have gotten some that were fine.but I would rather have studio recorded

Live probably......The thing with live is once you hear the studio version of a song you think live will pretty much be the same but with a crowd. But in live there's usually a improvised guitar solo and little tiny extra bits what make the song sound so much cooler.

It depends on what type of music it is. I mean acoustic stuff is often better on studio albums. And alot of albums work well not as a collection of songs, but as those songs in the right order played to create a feeling amongst the listener, and this is often lost in live albums. Also if an artist is s*** then their live stuff often is too.

Alternatively live albums can be brilliant, and artists are often better live than in the studio's, perticularly rock bands. I mean my favourite Who album is a live one. Same with AC/DC.

Though to me it really is the type of music that dictates whether it's better live, or in the studio.
