Journal Points

Is there any way to let us know how many points we get when we post a journal entry?

We can know how many points we get from a journal reply, but we can't know how many we get from an entry.

Any way to throw something in there to let us know?

I usually post in my journal, check my points total, and then hit the back button two or three times and subtract.

Yeah, but you could do that with anything. You could write down your points total right when you sign in and then your total when you leave and figure out how many you gained. So why have the new points thing below your name?

We're a lazy bunch.

I just think that if we can see our points earned from everything else, we should be able to see the points earned by journals.

I agree, that would be a cool function.

However, the number of new points tells you how many points you have gained since you last logged in.

I constantly close my browser though, so it doesn't really help me It'd be cool to see how many points you get each day.

Yeah, since you last logged in. I'll sometimes be on TFS for hours on end, and I'll have 100+ new points sometimes. It's cool to know how many you earned during your time on here.

Hmm . . . and a new feature! Right below it, it says, "You have earned ??? points today." Really cool!

Can we get this stuff?
