From a legal standpoint the fertilization of the eggs were created for them to raise together.

When they divorced that contract was broken.

The embryo is not capable of sustaining life on its own. It is not a baby. It is a potential baby, just as every egg that a woman passes every month is or the way every sperm a man ejaculates is.

Are you sure why they got divorced? You can't see inside of that marriage. Perhaps she's a nice lady who would be an amazing mother. Perhaps she's a hideous alcoholic who just wants a baby for revenge. We don't know. There are really only 2 people who do and one of them has said nope...no way!

As previously mentioned, there is also no guarantee that she is going to live more than 10 years. Now I know that is true for anyone, but they tell most cancer patients it's what? 5 years before you're in the clear....and even that is not a guarantee. I know there are not guarantees, but she's playing with a deck stacked against her and a childs future at stake. Having a baby that nobody else wants is just indulging her feelings and nobody elses.

While I feel bad for her the fathers wishes can't be dismissed. To ignore his lack of consent and create children of his loins against his wishes is an invasion and abuse of his rights.

There are a kabillion kids who need adopting. She doesn't need to give up the dream...just change it a bit.

They are not being created against his wishes. That was done already with his consent. What this suit is about is whether these children are killed out of hand because daddy changed his mind, or whether they be allowed to grow to their full potential.
