Acorn Woodpecker

Note all:

If you are an Acorn Woodpecker living in a Sycamore Tree, and you are still too young to fly consistently well, it is best not to land on the ground.

Sure, you were lucky to avoid the local feline.

But your luck did not hold fast for the sharp eyed Cooper's Hawk.

You should have stayed in the tree, were your parents would have been happy to bring you various flavored grubs.

With luck, your siblings have learned from your mistake.

We can only hope.
