I am a philosopher.

Please ask me your questions and I will do the best to answer them.

Or we can discuss philosophical values you hold.

Thank you.

From a moral perspective, who is "better":

1. Esau or Jacob? Why?

2. Enkidu or Gilgamesh? Why?

Ok...

also...

I am wondering:

Let's say that I don't believe in a god (nor gods)...

AND I don't believe in the whole reincarnations thing (trying to get better with each life until finally you reach Nirvana)....

Instead I believe that upon death "we" cease to exist completely... "we" are gone... there is nothing... no thought... darkness... nothing... less than silence...

Why then do I believe that there is in fact "right" and "wrong" and that "we" (all of us) actually know the difference between right and wrong... even though, ultimately, it makes no difference... and that "we" are nothing in the scene of the universe...

I wonder if your subconscious mind actually stop working work, when you are dead.your conscious mind will stop. but does the subconscious mind stop?

you think about the part that you could actually see your subconscious mind at work minutes before your death. it would explain the bright guide light, that you see in your mind. this bright guide light could see your actually subconscious mind at work, because your conscious mind is dying now.

#1 I do not know

#2 I have been thinking of Enkidu and Gilgamesh as different aspects of the same person. Since Enkidu died, and if being alive is preferable to being dead, then I would say it was better to be Gilgamesh.
