I've probably mentioned elsewhere that one spring break a dozen frat guys piled into an RV and drove through Florida... (+30 years ago)

Miami Beach was one of our stops, and at that time they were not a Spring Break hot spot. That was still owned by Daytona Beach and Ft Lauderdale... future stops on our trek north

Miami Beach was a nice quiet spot compared to the madness of the other places.
A place where you can take an early morning shower on beach and hardly see anyone else The locals and cops said they were trying to get more kids to make this their Spring Break destination.


I guess they got what they were hoping for, and more.
