I refrained from saying anything since the OP was about drinking beer or any other alcoholic beverage, but since other people have said they don't drink, I thought I'd throw in my two cents. I don't think I like drinking. Everything from the idea to the taste has put me off it really. Admittedly I've only really tried drinking two, what I think were wines, and only a glass each, but the taste itself was rather unappealing at first blush, and the idea of getting drunk just puts me off in general.
No judgement if you drink or anything (responsibly), whether it's for the taste or the effect. I just...don't.
