Facebook making if very difficult to report criminal activity through their ad system

Regardless, FB isn't a law enforcement organization. It would be best to report crimes to a law enforcement organization.


If it were serious enough, the law could cut through the red tape pretty quick.

I take in concern about jursidiction

It may be easy to get authority in America to act quickly
but perhaps not as easy if you're handing the information down from a different country, concerning abuse from yet another non-US territory, and it has to be taken seriously by several bureaus in between.

In this instance it would be easiest for FB to cease allowing streaming for said merchant's ads.

So you're referring to on-line crime /scams. OK
I was thinking of threats and potential (or occurring) physical crimes

I gave up realizing it was my fault for being naive and believing that FB had quality control over who was advertising through them.

I don't use the site myself; you're only talking with people you could get up and go see in person in your living room

My partner stumbled upon an add for a store and that ran away and disappeared after collecting our details including MasterCard number.
