im not sayings its ok what she did, but the story could have ended very differently, i wouldnt say she was over reacting, you never know what could have happened

I love flying.

But I once had a pilot describe landing a 747 as being a controlled crash

I like to play flight simulator 2004 and I have landed a 747 only once!

Ok that was dumb. I could imagine it being like a controlled crash considering how large and heavy it is.

I feel sorry for her...Yes she may be a stewardess and should know better but she is also a human being and is allowed to be scared and express it....I think people should empathise with her.

I have flown a lot and I have been in bad turbulance, I'll admit not as bad as an 8'000 ft drop, but bad to make me a bit nervous. One of the things that helped me stay calm was the fact the flight crew stayed calm. As long as they don't panic I won't pancic.

I just found out today one of my neigbors used to be a stewerdess on an airline. She said she was in an incident where the pane dropped a few thousand feet from turbulence but she was badly hurt in the process.

She said she walking down the isle with a trey full of drinks when the plane dropped. She became pinned to the ceiling of the plane and then was dropped back down to the floor. She broke her wrist and pelvic bone!!!
