Wait .. are you saying that Energy is somehow related to Mass ???

.. mass is the attribute, kg is the unit.

By your "logic", you could also argue that Length and Feet are circular references.

Er, Einstein said that Energy is "somehow" related to mass....

and mass is identical to inertia, by definition, so mass is just another word for inertia. same units, same formula.

No, you are wrong.
Energy is the Force required to move an object.
Intrinsically there is no unit, and there is not even time, until you break down force.

The E in e=mc2 is Joules.

Joules measure the work done on an object to accelerate it at the rate equal to 1 kg moved one meter in one second.

So the E is directly referring to Kgs, Meters and seconds.

and on the other side of the equation, the m is mass, which is measured by exactly the same units with the same ratios.

So to make it really simple, the equation could just as easily say"

Work = work * c squared.

Which is clearly incorrect, again.

You are lost, pay attention:
c^2 is needed for m to be E

What you just ineptly and incorrectly stated was that Work = Mass

But c^2 = 2c...

And it that's wrong, I was making a point about something... uh.... that numbers are... frightening...terrifying fairies... or something....
