Oh lord, this thread is going to the dogs.

What weighs 2,5'00 pounds and wears flowers in it's hair?
A hippiepotamus.

-----

What do you call a man who steals ham?
A hamburglar.

-----

What is the best way to drive a baby buggy?
Tickle her feet!

-----

What would you get if you crossed a cow with a porcupine?
A steak with a built-in toothpick.

-----

What animal can jump higher than a house?
Any animal, a house can't jump!

.......More?

say good-night, gracie!

if a cow eat the porcupine. you cook the cow. you would have a cow that would be your steak. the pocupine's needles would stick up from the body of cow.

so you would have a steak with toothpicks come out of the streak.

If a cow ate the porcupine then all the quills would be chewed up.
She said crossed with , wouldn't that mean the cow and the porcupine get married?

no, it wouldn't mean that.

the cow and the porcupine would become one. a steak with a build-in toothpick. it is not a bad joke.

out of the jokes, dulu, this one, one of the best.

dulu and rondetto usually pick out old jokes that milton bertle or george burns. there are simply and easy to remember.

i started using the kinds of jokes, when i was younger to learn to tell a joke. that really the best of doing it.

you need to lean what is funny , when you read a joke. that take to learn, you need a sense of humor to see the joke's humor.

swan- this joke above, i am overthink. i gave more explanation that really didn't need. but i see where you get confuse by it.

sometimes, it is a better to picture than read between lines to get the humor. i naturally laugh at first, it was funny, then i picture in my mind.

if you picture the steak with a big toothpick come out of it, or a dozen toothpicks come out of the steak.

that's funny.

You are correct, the joke has been over thought. I replied to Dulu's jokes with a bit of silliness to show which of her jokes I enjoyed the most, I mean who ever heard of crossing a cow and a porcupine any ways.
One of the things that make a joke a joke especially one with a long explanation, is that it doesn't have a whole lot of details for the listener to have to work though to get to the humor. Cow eats porcupine ,then cook cow ,then cow turns into steak , then porcupines quills stick out of cow making a steak with toothpicks. Do you see what I'm saying ?

Sounds like 'more' to me:

You remind me of some of those dances ..... one, two, three, jerk!

He's sooooo nervous, he keeps coffee awake.

He's a contact man ..... all con, and no tact.

I was invited up to Judy's house for dinner last night,
I don't want to say she's a bad housekeeper, it's just
that you, 'uh, you have to wipe your feet 'after' you leave.

Now my friend d***, he's the one person who would make a perfect stranger.

yes, i see what you mean. the reason why some jokes are sound like a riddle- like what you get when you cross something with something.

like because a gimmick or something that lurking into the joke. jokes are like riddles, but riddles are jokes. riddle must have a logical explanation, jokes doesn't have to . that's difference.

I know this guys cousin , he's similar but different
His dance
jerk, jerk , jerk one
" " " two
" " " three

So one gets the wrong idea , he's a jerk similar to the original one in Dulu's joke the difference is this makes that seem like a toddler .
