Depends on the laws in question as well as the religion in question (or at least your understanding or the religion in question....combined with the degree of sacrifice/suffering you are willing to suffer.

Example:

> Let's say you are religion "A" and it instructs you to kill certain people for their actions, inactions and/or their religious views.
> You live in the country of "Z", which's laws have outlawed killing people.

>> You must consider the consequences...kind of a cost-benefit analysis.

1. What is the consequence of violating the country of "Z" laws? Monetary fine, prison, death (as in earthly death)...?

vs

2. If you do not obey your religion's rules, what are the consequences? Will you burn in hell for all eternity....or does your religion offer you a way out of the punishment...a loop hole...can you violate your religion's rules, but still gain forgiveness and thus avoid the punishment?

Earthly prison vs Eternal life....?

History seems to suggest that a large portion of humans are a little more concerned with their daily comfort in terms of obeying the laws of the State...and less certain about their religion's rules and application of punishment.

If you really believe then you should follow the law laid out to you by your religion. It's retarded, like literally insane to do otherwise. I mean you know that you need to follow those laws to get into heaven. What's 70ish years on earth compared to eternity in heaven. It's mind boggling that a true believer would follow a states law over their Faith's law.
I don't know what's a bigger joke religion or people... No wait I do, people.

I find that answering the door naked puts an immediate stop to their visits. I don't know how they know, but they never come back.

I would suspect that it was not 'THE GOD'. It has never been clear to me how to tell if it is God or Satan talking to me. In general I do not listen to the voices.
