So anyone have a preference as to investing in Index mutual funds vs actively managed funds. I like to keep my expenses as low as possible with index funds but I think I may be missing out on performance if I instead picked a top performing actively managed funds. But do the increased fees cancel out any additional return I would get anyway?

Most of the major mutual funds companies offer index funds. Brokerages like Fidelity and Charles Schwab. The index funds typically track the S & P 500

you should ask your broker on managing fees, when u make money, you should let those who help u to make a living as well. The fees should be on a brochure / list.

Dividends, mutuals, dividends, mutuals... sell all Gold Bond, invest 500 into James Bond, then carry the three and sell the derelict assets to the investors so they can derelict your nut sack. Money, Wall Street, stocks, buy low, sell high, black market. Trade EVERYTHING on the black market. Children, pets, grandparents, drugs, guns, politics, swords, gunswords... ummm, tractors. Hello Kitty stocks up 36 points; getting kicked in the balls down 49%. Quick, buy the rights to nutshots and trade them for Sweden! Disband Sweden, pocket the assets, sell the land to Russians. Not THE Russians, just some Russians. Steal the orange juice futures from Clarence Beeks, put him in a gorilla suit, invest 600 into Viagra, give the Viagra to actual gorilla then give Beeks to gorilla. Gorilla thanks you by installing you as head of CEOs in Walmart and Halliburton.

Congratulations! You now own a 12% controlling share of the entire planet thanks to these wise investment tips. You're welcome. That'll be $84,675,500 please. Plus tax.

*Holds out hand expectantly*
