I don't think that capitalism is exclusively a republican thing. In addition, I don't think that telling lies to make money is exclusively a republican thing either.

As to "telling lies to make money", as long as you don't actually break the law I suppose one could argue that it is "right" as in "correct"... is morally reprehensible behavior "correct"?

Generally speaking most laws are probably intended to protect the society, so generally speaking yes... "good for the many".

back to the homeless man killing, definitely something wrong in albuquerque police. why are they targeting mental illness people, why are they getting away with it? why is the city government try cover it, who is paid off the city government or police department to keep hidden from the public? this sound like a plot for a movie or a pilot of tv series. the tail end of the video, is probably true about what they are going to with it. a new chief police is a good start, but the f.b.i. come in, maybe even c.i.a. need to come in, too. obviously, a new order of government need to run this city. this not an overnight progress, this going more than a couple of months, years to clean up this town. if it can be clean up? hopefully, justice will be serve the right way, not corrupt way, this town look now.

Well marketing and advertising are certainly based on "lies".

However, there might be a difference between exaggerating to get someone to buy your product/services and actually defrauding them in a ponzi scheme, pyramid scheme or some other flim flam that actually violates civil and/or criminal laws.

There are a variety of models of "capitalism", but I doubt any of them actually justify fraud.

But, maybe I am wrong.

Hmm... possibly... in so far as capitalism was defined (by John Adam Smith? was it?), I think it was not inherently fraudulent, however, I suspect the entire system is underpinned by a wide variety of frauds of various kinds and degrees in current practice.
