There is a group of aboriginal people who live in a remote area of Canada, and American journalists refer to them as a nation.

In 100 years we may all live in space, on other planets, or planets made of asteroids. Tribal or national divisions may have lost their meaning.

I expect it will not be a spaceship. It will be thousands of spaceships.

Then each ship will have a name soon. The people on that ship will begin to identify themselves as red ship 1234 blue ship 1234. They need something to bond with others and to identify with.

That is the plot of an old movie, The Forbidden Planet, made in 1956.

The planet is a giant robot or society of robots something like a bee colony.

I thought I had seen the Forbidden Planent, but maybe I just have heard people talking about it. The trailer doesn{t look familiar to me. I think that a group of explorers went to the planet, and when the next expedition arrived, only two of the original explorers were left. The planet has lots of machines and mechanical gismos that appear to operate in some kind of orderly way, but the people who built the machines have disappeared. Something like the Toltecs in Mexico.

I never heard of the Colossus of New York.
