How to make Rice pudding

Ingredients: for 5 to 7 persons

Rice - 100gm
milk - 2 ltrs
Sugar - 150gm
Raisin - 25 gm
Cashew - 35 gm
Almond - 25 gm


Steps:
1. Soak rice in water for half an hour.
2. Put milk in a big container and boil it.
3. After boiling, put soaked rice into the container.
4. Now, lower the heat of gas stove and keep cooking until the 50% of milk absorbs in rice.
5. Check the rice by your hand whether it is cooked or not.
6. After thick consistency of milk and rice, close the flame.
7. Now, add all the chopped dry fruits and stir it well.

Your rice pudding is ready now, you can enjoy having it with your family. You can change the amount of ingredients as per your requirement.

I would NOT eat it with nuts in it honestly. That just doesn't sound appetizing. I love tons of raisins though

I make it without, just rice sugar and milk in mine with butter to grease the basin. So thick you could stand a spoon up in it

LOL mine is much the same! I make it like my grandfather makes it. I just boil rice for 20 minutes or until the water is gone, add milk, butter cinnamon and sugar (I don't measure lol, just toss it in) then cook it another 30-40 minutes while I soak the raisins. Once it is done, I add the raisins and enjoy

It's never rice pudding without cardamom. Sorry folks, you all got it wrong.
