carry on like this ED and you will make a great Labour head 15.02.13

many of a poems i have done,
frustration brought to the max,
because after Blair's success,
it was lost by the row on 10p tax.
he didn't have a clue,
Gordon Brown may have been chancellor gold,
but when he took the reins,
the steering was mad and bold.
he was soon to go,
which did not at all scare,
we needed someone inspirational,
where are you "Tony Blair".
in stepped Ed,
my interest did excite,
but soon i realized,
him and Labour would not reunite.
boring and dull,
with hardly any passion,
is this a good advert for "Haverstock",
we need tips on personality and fashion.
and now today,
a delightful introduction,
Ed said 10p tax will return,
but is this a fony advert production.
are you for us ED,
i want concrete proof,
hit these god dam rich hard,
and you will get so much support under Labours roof.

(hello to everyone on this forum. from today's news i gather Ed is going to bring back the lower rate of tax for those on less well of wages, which i 100% support and truly believe this is what Labour should be all about, helping those lower down and making there life's easier. i am still suffering from what gordon wanted to do and that was to double the amount of tax low earners pay. he was not a leader for the labour party and i am so glad he is gone. noone will ever beat tony B but i understand there is still so much hate for him and i do fully accept i can not change this. and i am sure we will be discussing the war in Iraqi for millions of years to come as it really is a fascinating issue - i kid you not. after my little rant what i want to no is are you happy with ED and his idea to bring back the 10p tax for those earning less ? )

I never get the hatred for Tony Blair. Booing him at Conference was just odd.

Anyway, Labour should cake-walk the next election. The Liberal Democrat vote will plummet and with the Tories trying to shift to the right to prevent leaking votes to Ukip Labour can attract traditionally liberal voters. Adopting the Mansion Tax is likely to be popular with floating voters too.

I'm not a huge fan of Ed personally (Although I actually voted him for leader due to an apparent lapse in judgement), but I like his new tax plan. Considering the Tories were dismissing it at PMQs on Wednesday as having 'no policy ideas' he's given the government something to think about.
