League/Association do you prefer watching? The NBA or the NFL? To be quite honest, basketball has been more exciting and entertaining than football in opinion. Even though I have been gone for about three months. Since I came back, I fell asleep on a football game and stayed up watching a basketball game. If I was a bit taller and really good at basketball or football I would play either sport, but at this moment I prefer basketball over football. How about you? What is your preference?

Basketball in its current form is an awful spectator sport. There's a reason it's so much less popular.

F*CKING NHL LOCKOUT!!! If I had the time, the money or the resources, either me or Todd Bertuzzi would be kicking Bettman in the balls right now!!!

Basketball to me seems like it's gotten too... big on itself. Kinda a weird description, I know, but ever since that Adidas commercial about 'D Rose' and his comeback or whatever, it's just lost all appeal to me. Like, who gives a crap if some guy is making a comeback? No one came out with a commercial when Jerry "The King" Lawler collapsed during Monday Night RAW and then he returned in two weeks and then was reinstated after he made a full recovery. And he had heart complications. Other dude sprained his ankle or whatever.

Canada has the CFL, so I don't watch the NFL much anymore.

I wouldn't say it is an awful spectator sport. In my opinion, it's better to play a sport than watch it, but that's my opinion. Just like you just had yours.

I have issues watching sports where possession can change several times in the blink of an eye. As a result, I dislike watching basketball, hockey and soccer.

American football doesn't take long to learn the basic rules and there's enough time during actual game play to see what is going on.

To me, it's like the difference between watching a movie and watching a montage. Don't get me started on baseball...

I used to prefer the NBA as I played basketball growing up. Now however, I definitely prefer the NFL.

Definitely football. So much drama. In basketball, it's just back and forth, back and forth, back and forth, some hundred or so times, making one score pretty much meaningless.

Football NFL! All the way.

If I want to see guys run around in shorts and no pads, I'll watch soccer.

NFL. I can get bored to death with the NBA unless its one of those games. I'm talking about games that will be written in history books and whatnot.

So far I haven't seen those kind of games in either sport. I prefer NBA because it has less rules and even though both can be full of crap at times.

I've seen a few historical football games live. You're bound to from watching it every Sunday for almost 30 years.

I'll watch baseball before I watch basketball, which is saying a lot, because I don't follow baseball either. I think the last time I followed basketball was when Jordan, PIppen, and Rodman were winning championships for Chicago. Once everyone left that team, including the coach, I lost interest.

International football (soccer) can be fun to watch, simply because there is no other sport where one goal is of as much value as it is in that sport.

Basketball is brutally boring. Every once in a while something unusual or interesting will happen but otherwise it's the same thing repeated for four quarters. Wow! Another basket! There's only been 50 of those this game....

Eh, I still think basketball is exciting. It gets me going especially when I'm arguing which team is better.
