I was lucky enough that my friends family hired a canal boat for a week and I was invited to go.

My boss owns one & took us out for a day last year, I loved it.

York is lovely, used to love going to York when I was younger.

Most my family live in Hull so we'd always visit York whilst visiting relatives.

Realised yesterday that the hotel we're staying in isn't actually in York, it's in Wetherby (about 30 mins from York). We're going to visit "Old Mother Shipton's Cave" though and it's not far from the hotel.

I hear the weather over there is not the best, go to London & do some sightseeing.

I used to live in Woking for a year, I hated London, such a drab, miserable place and the people are terribly unfriendly and cliquey. Not like green, rainy, friendly Scotland :P

Woking is hardly exciting but there is McLaren in Sheerwater!
