Two men arrested after two-hour police pursuit of stolen milk tanker

I know they said milk may go up in price but this is a bit extreme lol
Maybe these guys were milk farmers seeing there always screaming they dont get enough for there milk maybe they thought stuff it we want our milk back. Or maybe they just had a really hungry baby lol

A STOLEN tanker carrying 22,000 litres of milk has been intercepted following a 200km two-hour police pursuit this morning.
Two men, aged 20 and 60, were arrested about 6am in Melbourne’s south-east after allegedly stealing the milk tanker from a farm in Sale about 3.50am.

Dandenong Sen-Sgt Danny O’Sullivan said the owners of the tanker, which was full after the morning milking, were alerted to the theft when the truck’s inbuilt GPS device started tracking the vehicle.

Police started following the tanker on the Princes Highway on the western side of Morwell.

But about 40km and 30 minutes later, the men continued to refuse to pullover and a police pursuit began near Yarragon.

"It wasn’t a fast pursuit on this occasion, the average speeds reached were 60-80km/h, but the potential was still there for damage to be caused and there was risk to the safety of the community,’’ Sen-Sgt O’Sullivan said.
