Content fit on Windows browsers

Does anyone know if it's possible to enable Google Chrome browser running on Windows to be configured so that the contents of windows fit to a window when you resize it like on a mobile.
I don't suppose their is but I wonder if the software co. like Google who make Chrome and obviously Microsoft are actually aware of this problem. I hope they sort it out soon.

The width of a page is set by the code in the page. It can be fixed width, or the designer can make pages be a percentage of the browser window width. The browser doesn't have much to do with it.
