Typical, the Constitution is irrelevant for 98% of the Left. Make that 100%--the other 2% left for the right. Anyway, thanks a pantload for the advice, wonder why I didn't think of that?

Since you fancy yourself a constitutional scholar, I assume you know that the government has 3 branches: legislative, judicial and executive. All 3 have upheld Obamacare, so suck it.

Yes, because the Constitution is now officially dead. Obama's been walking on it since he got into office. Where does it say in the Constitution (may it rest in peace), that we have to pass a bill before we can find out what's in it. This has been a sham from beginning to end, because the Left knows once they control health care, they control us.

There's one thing I have to look forward to, the look on all the useful idiot's faces when they find out they're not in the elite class who get their healthcare through different channels, that doesn't use rationing and bureaucrats to decide who gets to live or die. All's fair and love and class warfare.

To bad you won't be there to explain all this to your great grandchildren when they're spilling their blood to salvage what you threw away, because you thought the government would make life fair. It wouldn't even if it could.

Hey, so how many constitutional law classes have you taken?

Sorry, forgot to post the link.

It isn't in the USA today article, though this link was imbedded in it, there's the strong indication for several reasons that that was the cause:
"Some even suggested that if Roberts struck down the mandate, it would prove he had been deceitful during his confirmation hearings, when he explained a philosophy of judicial restraint.

"It was around this time that it also became clear to the conservative justices that Roberts was, as one put it, "wobbly," the sources said."

But that is peripheral. The issue is that he reversed his opinion, without a real explanation, and wrote an irrational opinion completely on his own that both sides disagreed with. Most of the pressure came from Kennedy, who many are supposing is one of the two sources. If justices were the sources, that will change the whole dynamics of how the Court operates. Somebody or something got to him for him to come down on the liberal side of two major judgments in one week.

That's better, but that article, like you just speculates that the media got to him. There is no proof of this. The only pressure we know that he did receive was from among the 9 justices, a regularity.

You realize that not everyone has the same interpretation of the Constitution as you right? That the justices even have differing interpretations right? That you only declare the Constitution dead because it doesn't fit your interpretation right?
