In The Silence of Ash

Left in the shade of Purpose,
It?s meaning held in anguish
To an understanding once dealt
Like the cards of a game,
For fools know all wisdom
When one is left to fight

Where would you go?
For paths are not forgotten
As the Path will never forget,
Time keeps our ending
While souls write their journey,
A book read only once

Yet alone I stand
Only in the passing of thought,
While enlightenment lay
But at the tip of my finger,
Touched
In every moment

Leave my words
And forget my face,
But remember my vision,
For Fire still burns
After its life is set
In the Silence of Ash.
