Romney flip flops on the stimulus

Romney in 2008-"The question is, where is Washington?” “Are we going to let the entire automobile industry, domestic manufactured automotive industry, disappear and just say, ‘Well, that was tough, that’s just the way it is.'?"

When Romney was campaigning in his home state of Michigan, he appeared to be in support of the government intervention, but just 10 months later when the Bush administration was debating approving the bailouts, he opposed them and suggested that the bailouts would ruin the auto companies and that they should be forced to declare bankruptcy and restructure, a move that surely would have caused a mass shutdown and cost millions of auto workers their jobs, further crippling the nation's economy, even if temporarily.

Now of course he is trying to take credit in part for the apparent success of the bailouts.

Is there anything this guy won't say for a vote?
