I'm not here to blather on about politics or force my views onto anyone, so I'll keep it short and sweet

Hmmm....

It might be too much to ask. Why?

> some people like Obama.
> some people really do not like the republican candidates that are running.
> "borders: closed" doesn't fix the real problems with immigration.
> Most of us already speak english. Some of us speak more than one language. Why do you want to stop people from speaking more than one language?
> We already have the constitution and bill of rights.
> "Mandatory drug screening...." good idea.
> "No freebies to Non-citizens": How about no freebies... PERIOD...but you will have to define "freebies".
> Balanced Budget would be nice: How about you Reps and Dems stop defending your corrupt politicians hold your own parties (BOTH OF THEM) accountable.
> Tax Reform: is needed.... details?
> Term limits: good idea... details? Why not for the president also?

The re-election of Obama will bring us:

Ineptocracy (in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

However, the old wisdom still prevails:

? If we got one-tenth of what was promised to us in these acceptance speeches there wouldn't be any inducement to go to heaven. ~Will Rogers

? Those who are too smart to engage in politics are punished by being governed by those who are dumber. ~Plato

? Politicians are the same all over. They promise to build a bridge even where there is no river. ~Nikita Khrushchev

? When I was a boy I was told that anybody could become President; I'm beginning to believe it. ~Clarence Darrow

Is it too much to ask: that the spelling in the Topic title be corrected.

Ah, the new PC version of re-tarded? Oh my yes, that's so much better. Sort of like idiot savant was pc'd up to be autistic savant, which makes them feel so much better about themselves.

Makes one wonder who the idiots are. Hard to tell behind all the psychobabble camouflage.

Of course, in the happier politically correct days of the nineties. Somebody would write: IT IS. That is as if our nationalism transcended our political partisanship.

I don't think "PC" means what you think it means.

And, as long as one is asking a question, it should be dressed with the proper punctuation, as well! Right?

I may not be perfect, but at least I vote, pay tax's, love my country, want to see it improve, am not dependant upon anyone to support me.

I'm sure one of the many Mensa wanna-be's will find something wrong with this post also

Nothing wrong with any of those things. It is when your positions on issues get more complex that we leave the realm of good common sense.
