Holy Crap!

Shark eating another shark whole!

Quote:
"The first thing that caught my eye was the almost translucent white of the bamboo shark," Ceccarelli told National Geographic in an email. Instead, as Ceccarelli moved in for a closer look she noticed a camouflaged wobbegong shark emerging from seclusion with the same bamboo shark partially wedged inside its jaws.

"It became clear that the head of the bamboo shark was hidden in its mouth," she said. "The bamboo shark was motionless and definitely dead."

Imagine going fishing. And someone asks "What are you gonna use for bait?"

And you say, "A shark."

Oh I know well enough that it tastes good. My dad and I used to catch bonnetheads when we lived on a Marine base in Hawaii and mom would cook them with lemon....

Indeed they are!

Quote:
The bonnethead shark or shovelhead, Sphyrna tiburo, is a member of the hammerhead shark genus Sphyrna. The Greek word sphyrna translates as hammer, referring to the shape of this shark's head - tiburo is the Taino word for shark
