We're on the same page when it comes to the Chicago Blackhawks. I tried to watch most of the games '94-'95 and on, when Chris Chelois was playing. I heard his dad had a chili bar in Chicago. Have you ever been there? Was always gonna check it out but, like all my plans, never made it.
I have never been to a Hockey game in my life....i'am actually not a big fan of Hockey or baseball for that matter. However, ANY Chicago sports team has my undying loyalty, devotion, and support! Now Da BlackHawks won the Stanley Cup in 1961.....the year I was born. They haven't won one since then until 2010-2011 season, the year I turned 49.....so I think they did it in honor of my 49th birthday!
At least that's what I tell myself.
But hey, I went to the SuperBowl in 85' to watch Da Bears.....kick the Patriots a** in New Orleans! My FIRST ever Football game.....been a Bear fan ever since! Been to MANY "chili bars" in my hometown......but of course, my Aunt Sarah makes the best!
