(i'm planning on removing developer's preview i'm just transferring stuff i want but not enuf memory!)

So you want the bigger one bigger and the smaller one to stay the same size?
To do that the larger one needs to be right next to the area that you want to connect to it.

i want the smaller one larger and to copy files from the large on which will be made small enough to just hold the files so i can copy the ones i want to the smaller one and then delete the now smaller one and extend the now larger one to fit the drive

So you just want one partition on the drive?
Just delete the smaller one and extend the larger one. There is no need to move files around just do to a simple task.

not my fault. go buy a computers for dummies guide and read the hard disk partition section. that'll give you a clue to what i'm talking about.(i didn't even have to read a manual figured it out on my own trying to dual boot ubuntu and win 7

I learned how to put together a computer without reading a manual.
And maybe you are the one that should be reading that section as you are the one who has f***ed up not me.
And also if something is not making any sense then the person explaining it isn't doing a very good job of it.
