How so? It seems like he's pretty serious to me. He abandoned his future career as a congressman in order to pursue the presidency full time. So you can't mean that he isn't serious about it himself. So what you're saying is that he isn't being taken seriously because....he isn't being taken seriously. Sounds like you didn't really answer the question. Wanna expand on that a bit?

That's pretty much exactly what it is. People just aren't enamored with Romney, for whatever reason. So one candidate after another catches everybody's enthusiasm instead, only to fizzle after a few weeks in the spotlight. Gingrich's rating is starting to crack. And since there really isn't anybody left, save perhaps Huntsman, Ron Paul is next in line, and perhaps just in time. However, he is a bit extreme, even more than the others, so it may not pan out either.

Well, lol, when you stop to think who is backing them that is hardly surprising, at least much of the time.
