Ever visited London

Has anyone ever visited London? and what did you think of it?

I ask as I work in London, near the Tower of London and Tower Bridge from Monday - Friday. I have got so used to seeing the Castle nearly everyday I take for granted how lucky I am to see it

I've been several times and I can safely say I hate it there. No offense intended!

It strikes me as dirty, polluted, busy, over populated... just not my kinda place. But then I hate cities in general!

Overall I don't like London either... communiting to work is awful everyday. There are so many rude and grumpy people . I like the history of London but the rest of it I would glad give a skip. I work in London cos of the job and I do and the good money

i was there a couple of weeks ago, the tube was horrible. wanted to see soho but ran out of time

London is great. The tube is really easy to use once you figure it out. Loads to
do and see. I really enjoyed it.

London is great to visit, but I promise you its awful having to work there all the time.

Tubes - Great during off peak times (10.30am - 4.30pm) it's quiet and you get a seat. But don't go on it on peak times you will be squashed, hot, sweaty, tired (no seats) and if you are unfortunate you will be next to someone who doesn't know what a wash it

Many people are rude and pushy (queues are not known to commuters) and what really bugs me at the moment is when there are three seats and people sit either side and leave a the middle seat free (fine when not busy) BUT the moment someone wants to sit in that seat, the two people huff and buff. They shake their newspapers and make exaggerated gestures.

Sorry to rate, not a good time getting into work this morning

I was in London briefly in January. Found people to be rude, unhelpful, and generally pushy-especially in Kings Cross Station. I only met 1 nice cab driver so I gave him a tip as it was great to meet a decent human being with common courtesy...Sorry, just my opinion, I preferred Edinburgh much better. Friendly folk who help you out a bit more...
