I wasn't really into rap when he was big (no pun intended) but I do remember him. And damn...44 years old. Too young.

I don't listen to rap, but when I was watching the news earlier and saw the announcement, I felt over whelming sadness.. 44 is just too young.

Yeah, Rap isn't my thing either, but I did like Heavy D, he wasn't one of those gangster type Rappers, and he was so funny and way too young to die!
