I've watched a lot of episodes of Cop squad on Sky1.
I think that the police in Britain are far too lenient.
When people go kicking and screaming like crazy, or Effing and Blinding at the top of their voices, the police still have have to act calmly, and not go shouting down their ear-holes to 'Do as you're told!'

And the sentences that are given in Britain are beyond under-acceptable as well...too many cautions, not enough fines and imprisonments.

Is there any way that we can deal with it?

Yeah I've seen the way they act so calmly when they are mob handed smashing peoples doors in,threatening with tasers ect.. just to find the place is occupied by a couple of skinny 18 yr olds with a £5 worth of hash lol.

Those cop shows are a joke but then so are the police and the British justice system.

Did you every watch that show on BBC about police officers from other countries coming here to experience our system?

It showed some really good and bad things about what it is like here. But I remember the Australian policeman being really surprised by the level of force used here!

But these programmes ARE done for entertainment purposes, and people will act differently with a camera watching their every move.

Criminal justice is too weak in this country. Personally, I think we should get every one of these young hooligans and have them flogged. whip them soundly and cane their bottoms until they glow red (Every wednesday round at my place. Wear something black and shiny)
