Best Game Series

What is, in your opinion, the best series of video games in existence?

Zelda.

Final Fantasy, Metroid, Street Fighter, and Mario round out the top 5.

I can't decide between Zelda and Mario. On the one hand Ocarina of Time is my favourite ever game, but on the other I probably like more Mario games than Zelda games.

The astonishing thing is that every canon Mario and Zelda game are legitimate GOAT contenders. It is tough to pick, but I've enjoyed the Zelda games much more than the Mario games.

Shenmue (although the third one needs to be made)

Assassin's Creed
Final Fantasy
Anything Star Wars

Super Mario Brothers, Legend of Zelda, Gears of War, Call of Duty: MW series.

Me either. It's a toss up between Mario and Zelda. I love both.

I didn't see this on the list. The God of War series and the Metal Gear Solid series.
