I've read so much on the disgusting and cruel methods used on laying hens. Chickens are torturedby their living conditions etc. Enough to make me sick. I've stopped eating eggs and have turned to quail eggs. They taste yummy and the cost is just a bit more. Does anybody have any more info on quail eggs? Thanks!

How are the living conditions of the quails that lay these eggs? Are they really that different from those of hens? I honestly have no idea, and I'm a little curious.

They are not as bad but far from being good. I'm going to starve! I'm thinking that my best bet would be going to see the hutterites for their f-r eggs. Thanks

If I want eggs.. I eat eggs. It's all going down the same pipe and coming out the other end.
By me not eating caged eggs it's not stopping whats happening and besides, when you're poor and have no cash to afford free range s*** it doesn't really matter.
If they really cared they wouldn't have free range and organic crap so expensive.
But then again, that's like me quitting on KFC cause of their chicken conditions. Those 11 secret herbs and spices are enough for me to forget what happens haha
Never tried Quail eggs but I would. As well as Ostrich
